The nut is a common fastener
product we use, it is mainly used in conjunction with stainless steel
bolts to play a relative fastening role. When using it, we must first
understand its specific purpose and which fasteners can be used together
to achieve the best results.
1. Round nut: used on shaft parts
to prevent axial displacement and used with non-return washer.
2. Hexagon nuts: used in
conjunction with bolts and screws.
3. Flange nut: stainless steel
hexagonal flange nut has a larger ratio of support area to stress area,
so it can withstand higher pre-tightening force. Therefore, it is
generally used in product fields such as automobile engines and heavy
machinery.
4. Slotted nut: The stainless steel slotted nut is used on the bolt with
a hole at the end of the screw that is matched with it. It is inserted
and locked with a cotter pin. It is mainly used for equipment with
vibration load.
5. Cap nut: It has one more
decorative function than ordinary nuts.
6. Wing nut: used for nuts that have low connection strength and need to
be disassembled frequently, and can be turned by hand. Such as hacksaw
bows, newspaper clips and other occasions.
7. Locking nut: The self-locking
nut is the same as the ordinary hexagonal nut, but has the function of
preventing loosening than the ordinary nut, and is generally used in the
vibration connection part.
